Temple d'Artèmis a Efès

Lo Temple d'Artèmis (en grèc Ἀρτεμίσιον e en latin Artemisium), tanben conegut mens justament coma Temple de Diana, èra un temple dedicat a Artèmis vèrs 550 aC a Efès (uèi en Turquia) jos la dinastia Aquemenida de l'Empèri Pèrsa. Res demòra pas del temple, una de las Sèt Meravilhas del Monde. Foguèt bastit pel rei Cressús amb soscripcion populara al meteis luòc ont i aviá agut un autre temple que foguèt destruit al sègle VII abC. La majora partida de la descripcion del Temple d'Artèmis ven de Plini lo Vièlh. Plini descriu un temple de 377 pès (115 mètres) de long e 180 pès (55 mètres) de larg, tot fat de marbre. Aviá 127 colomnas d'estil ionic antic de 60 pès (qualques vint mètres) d'auçada, estriadas en aresta viva, a la vam doric.

Lo temple foguèt destruit per un pastre, Erostrat d'Efès, que l'encendièt per venir famós.

It is just a shadow of its former glory but still great to see. Watch out for sellers trying to flog ancient coins. They are fake and you will be out of pocket. Have complained to local authorities.

Efes Antik Kenti içerisindeki tapınak Mö 550 yılında tamamlanmış ve tamamen mermerden inşa edilmiştr. Dünyanın yedi harikasından biri olan tapınaktan geriye bugün sadece bir iki mermer parçası kalmış.
